About Us

Welcome to Dzefer! We are a small 2-person company. That is Aleksandar, the main designer and creator of the rings, and I, Katarina (Kate), the main operations manager here. We started almost 10 years ago in 2017, selling jewelry on Etsy. 

At the time, we sold metal jewelry, but it wasn't until one year later that we started incorporating wood into our designs. It just made sense for our store and our personalities. I am your typical big city girl who came to Montenegro on holiday and fell in love. The people, the nature, and of course Aleksandar. 

He is a carpenter by trade and grew up in the stunning mountains of Montenegro. This store gave him the freedom to express his creative side through his favorite medium, wood. And so the rings were created with both of us in mind. The copper represents the electricity of the big cities I love, and the wood represents the nature Aleks knows so well. That is how our wood and copper wedding bands were designed. With love and the uniqueness of each individual in mind. 

Each ring is made with love and attention. By hand, by us, and to order. We will create the perfect ring for you so you can also have something that truly represents who you are and the uniqueness of your bond. 

And now, in 2026, we have decided to move away from Etsy and create our own website. This will give us the freedom to add more interesting pieces for you and your loved ones.
