This stunning ring is made with 2 different kinds of wood and a copper inner ring. The main wood is recycled oak from a whiskey barrel. The oak is framed by a thin line of black eucalyptus on either side. This ring takes time to create but is worth it. In the end, a stunning and unique ring is created.

As we work with veneers, first we need to cut a thin “slice” of the oak using a plane. This needs to be done carefully otherwise the super-thin veneers will snap. Then this piece is soaked and shaped. Once it dries, we can start working on the ring. After at least 4 days, the ring is finally complete and we can ship it to you.

As this ring is made from 100% pure copper, it may stain your finger. If this is an issue, simply write “with varnish” in the notes to seller when checking out. We will apply a thin coat of lacquer to the inner copper ring. This varnish is transparent and won’t be noticeable but it will keep the color of copper from changing and your skin from staining.
