Dark walnut and copper wedding band, Handmade to order in Montenegro, Europe.
This unique wedding band is made from pure copper and lined on the outside with natural dark walnut wood. The dark walnut is of the curly variety. This adds a special shine and luminescence to the ring. All our rings are finished with a natural matte look. The alternative wooden wedding ring is perfect for the adventurous souls which love nature and being different. Due to the nature of the ring, no two rings will ever have the exact same grain. That being said, dark walnut is a dark grayish brown with its specific orange/golden luminescence.

HOW IT’S MADE:
First, we prepare the copper ring. Made from pure copper, the ring is made to size and width as needed. It is then left rough and waits patiently for its wooden coat.

We use high grade wooden veneers for the outer layer. The wood is cut to size, soaked in water, curled, and left to dry. Once completely dry, it is carefully and precisely glued to the copper ring. This is again left to dry.

Next comes the sanding and shaping. We hand sand all our rings to ensure they don’t break or snap at any point. Machine sanding can sometimes cause minor cracks in the wood which is a problem later on. So, using various sanding papers, we carefully sand down the rings. From rough to fine until the ring is completely smooth and without any cracks or tiny holes. The inner copper ring is also sanded to a fine comfortable shine. The edges are grooved and filed down.

Once we are happy with the ring, we apply 100% natural beeswax to seal the ring and bring out its best color. The beeswax we use comes from our family home in the country. When we say its natural beeswax, we mean it.

Your new ring is then packed in its wooden box, placed in an envelope and shipped to you.

PURE COPPER:
This ring is made with pure copper. As such, the copper will darken with time and may stain your finger. If this is an issue, just add “with varnish” in the notes to seller. We’ll add a coat of waterproof varnish to the copper free of charge.

We can also make this ring with silver or gold. The silver version would cost the same, just contact us as it might change the shipping times depending on whether we have silver on hand at that moment.
Gold, however, will cost more so contact me for information. This includes white and rose gold. We use 14k gold and not gold plated.

SIZING:
- All our rings are made to size and order. Each ring is carefully sized and measured once made and once again before shipped out.

SIZE EXCHANGE POLICIES:
If your ring doesn’t fit perfectly, contact us. We have a couple of simple options for you to receive the perfect ring. Depending on what you decide, there may be a shipping fee, but ring exchanges are free. We believe that an order is complete only when you receive exactly what you are looking for.

RETURN POLICIES:
Although these rings are made to order, we do accept returns. If you are not happy with your ring for whatever reason, simply let us know within 30 days of receiving the ring. Unfortunately, because we are in Europe, you will have to pay the shipping fee to return the ring. That being said, once the ring arrives you will receive a full refund.

WARRANTY:
- Each ring is hand crafted with care and ensured that it would last a long time, but we understand these rings involve organic materials and accidental damage can happen. Therefore, we provide ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY from purchase. This would cover any repair to the ring regardless of how it was damaged.
- There will be a flat $20 processing fee for each claim. This will help keep our price low and minimize abusive damage to the rings.
- Buyers are responsible to ship the ring to us.
- Please contact us before you ship the ring out and we will provide information to include with the package.
